City And Color <3 One of my favoritest (yes, I know that isn't a word) bands in the whole world. What an amazing bunch. I was just listening to some music and i came across one of their popular songs called "Against The Grain" and this chorus kinda popped out at me. Life isn't perfect and we never know whats going to happen and when all is said and done you got to follow your heart....

Not much to blog about, just a picture blog of some behind the scenes at Macbeth practice. We probably don't spend our "practicing" time very wisely... oops. Just spending those 5 hours hanging with friends, listening to music and singing. And punching... sorry caleb :(

Build you up

I feel like I'm not blogging much anymore. January is super busy for me right now so my weeks are packed full of stuff. Tue-thurs I'm at school till 8pm rehearsing for our Macbeth play in which I'm super excited for. But my weekends are full of work, gym and trying to hangout with friends. Lately I've been with my "Chehalas" friends as we like to call ourselves. Probably some of the nicest and hilarious people I've met. It's so nice to be around people that build you up, and not tear you down. Sometimes with the pressure and stress of everything you got to make room for friends. Because these guys are awesome and always end up making me smile.

Youth Family

Feeling pretty stressed about some things. School, Macbeth and especially my youth
I've been attending for 6 years now since our new amazing youth pastor started, Andrew. I could never express how much I love these group of young adults. Within the past 6 years I grew closer to God as well as others. I know whenever i'm feeling crappy or unhappy youth every friday night was something that cheered me up. Andrew and his wife Hayley are two very special people. I look up to them and all the love they have for God. Everything in the youth group had been going perfect until one day it all came crashing down. I don't usually think of myself as an emotional person, but when it came to the news that they were leaving I broke down. It was one of the hardest days in my life. I never thought of the day when they would be gone.
Recently our church and youth group have been working together to prepare for Andrew's absence. And it's been so difficult for me. I guess it's hard to see them leave, it seems like the youth will never be the same without them. Being one of the older youth I feel a great deal of responsibility for our youth and our future. Right now it seems unbareable but I know for others I have to put my sadness aside and look into the future. God does things for a reason... Right?

leap of faith

Photography is ALL i have been thinking about these past months. When it comes to planning my future that's the only thing that pops into my mind. It scares me because I don't know if photography can take me that far in this world. I want to do it because it's my passion but I don 't know if I will survive in this career. I guess I just gotta take a leap of faith.

new beginning.

although i'm sad 2010 is over, i'm so excited to start 2011. Last year has been crazy, emotional, life changing and much much more. But this year i'm so excited to start all over. I get to finish my last couple months of school and start figuring out my life. Hopefully this year I will find someone to help me get through the challenges of this year. I look forward to spending time with my friends and just living life. Now's the time life has begun :)

my new years was crazy. don't even get me started. loads of stuff went down. maybe for the best. but instead of going into all that i thought i'd write down some of my new years resolutions....
